The blend of the soulful piano and lush chords made for a great accompaniment to the vocals. Your low end also kept that funk vibe going on which was cool and I felt that it had an organic tone too it which was cool as these human like sounds are always pleasing on the ears. Your drum programming worked well and helped to carry the track along nicely, in particular your use of percussion proving particular important to build on the groove of the track. Things progressed along well and the structure worked great to insure things stayed interesting throughout the duration of the track. Overall I was really impressed with what you did here, you managed to take this record straight into the present day whilst keeping a vibe which I am sure would even impress past listeners of the original record. Keep remixing these classics you clearly know your way around a studio.

Nice! I would have never expected to hear this 70s classic getting switched up. It definitely made for a refreshing change to the countless other remixes about of recent songs and I felt this was a really cool way to bring things up to date especially as it is around forty years since the original came out. With elements of rock, funk & soul in the original this instantly grabbed my curiosity to see how you would switch things up. Things started well and I found it cool how you teased the vocals in subtles bursts as your choice of synth works developed.You definitely switched the vocals up hee and the low pitch almost gave off an Outkast type vibe which was really cool and definitely made the track stand out. You had managed to really bring this up to the modern date but at the same time I felt you had manage to tastefully keep the vibe true to the original which for me was really important.
